This combines both stealth and hard mode together, this is primarily set at getting people to play a little more cautious and making use of the Vigors available. We also have the introduction of a new difficulty, 1998 mode. The other Vigors are Possession - (Posses enemies) and Old Man Winter - (Freezes Enemies or makes traps). There is also a couple of new Vigors available as well, Peeping Tom - (Invisibility lets you see through walls as well) and Ironside - (Enemy shoots you, acts like a shield and fills up your ammo). The DLC introduces a new stealth weapon called the Crossbow and now you can interact with Lock Picks, Unlocked Doors and Safes. I would roughly use a ratio of either 2:1 or 3:1 in Health to Salts.Įpisode 2 picks up right from where the last one left off. The last piece of advice that I will give you, upgrade your health over the shield and salts. You are allowed to upgrade you weapons, so I recommend upgrading this weapon and using it. They sit and just look gormless, so hitting a headshot is fairly easy - also with turrets, the range is good to have, so the weapon to use is the Carbine. The enemies are not that smart, so the weapon choice here is pretty easy. Although, there are certain area's where the melee stuff just isn't going to cut it and you will need to use a weapon. Victims take 2x damage for 5 secondsĪs you can see, now this 1999 mode doesn't seem so hard.
